The TD5's driveability has helped prove the Defender and Discovery to be distinguished cross-country vehicles. Problems come when you try to extract more power than the stock ECU's fuel and boost maps allow for. Over the years that we've been making cast iron manifolds, there has been a totally disproportionate number of people asking to fix their TD5 bent and webbed stud snappers. It came to that moment that we created a replacement part for a stock one. It will replace your old one, without any change in layout, while the 347 aerospace stainless alloy provides superior high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and lower sensitization susceptibility. Planned upgrade is to upgrade the turbo flange to accommodate T25 pattern fasteners and widen your choice of snails. NB: always place a fulcrum near the turbo to stay out of trouble. NOTE: We start shipping these at the end of February 2026
